Northern Districts Show Jumping Club (based in the Gawler area), has been established for over 25 years, and caters for the elite riders, through to those just learning the basics of  showjumping, a worldwide sport that carries Olympic Games status.

The Club has produced many state champion riders and rider/horse combinations that are listed on the Australian Elite Squad, making them eligible to represent Australia overseas and at the 2008 Olympics.

As with all sporting type Clubs, our survival has relied upon the generous support of Sponsors, whose financial assistance has enabled the Club to hold at least , 4 two-day Showjumping Carnivals and many Encourage/Training Days throughout the last few years. Riders and their families from all parts of the state, as well as our many local riders, support these events.

We have people available on Training Days to offer advice, assist with rules and regulations, and to assist with walking the course, if required. And, last but not least, we are there to have a friendly chat with  We would be more than happy to help you find out more about the Club and what we have to offer . We have a growing member base and we would be more than happy to introduce ourselves.

The Encourage/Training Days we hold start at approx 40cm-50cm, and can go up to over 1.0m time permitting. These days are fabulous for those Juniors just starting out, or for those who just want an opportunity to school their horse. A fun & relaxed day is had by all.  And for those Juniors who get clear rounds, a ribbon is awarded.

We also hold Open Shows throughout the year to cater for all riders. This year we have added a couple of Junior Days as well to our two-day Show Programmes.  We have Classes to cater for most Junior heights on these days, from under 50cm to approx 1.10m.  There are Vouchers and Prize Money to be won, very kindly donated by our generous sponsors.
